WWE NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin postponed, new date announced

The WWE NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin was slated to take place on April 26, 2020 from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland and air on the WWE Network.

However, the event has been postponed to a later date. The 3Arena has updated its listing for the show on their website that notes the event has been rescheduled for October 25th. The reason for this is due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The promotional material reads like, “NXT UK is heading to Dublin for the first time ever and fans are set to experience an epic event at 3Arena on the rescheduled date of Sunday, 25 October 2020. Fans around the world can see the show when it takes over the award-winning WWE Network.”

It should be noted that WWE taped episodes of its weekly television show leading up to this special. How WWE will handle the planned matches at this event remains to be seen.

WWE had yet to announce any matches for the show.
